Please attend one of these meetings to learn about pricing, meet our staff, and find out why Club AY is the best way to start your club volleyball experience. We are bringing our area a true club volleyball league with the YMCA values and principals.

Satellite Teams

Club AY offers satellite teams for athletes that already have at least 6-10 players ready to sign up. You are not required to tryout and the club director will put together practices, tournaments, and hire your team a coach (if needed). The parents will be able to have input on tournament dates and other important details relating to the team. This is a great alternative for teams that are looking to take their team “to the next level” in volleyball. This has been very popular with junior high teams to help build cohesiveness and with YMCA teams that have been playing together for years.

Try Out Registration Information

Per the North Texas Volleyball Region and USA Volleyball you MUST register online before attending any tryout. This includes registering through the online system, completing the electronic signatures, and paying the appropriate fees. Fees must be received and recorded in the player’s record prior to a player attending a tryout. Athletes should choose “UNDECIDED” as a club prior to tryouts. After accepting an offer with an club, parents will log back in and change the club affiliation. Please bring all the paperwork showing your successful registration and a the official medical release form.

CLUB AY BEACH VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM

The YMCA of Arlington is proud to offer beach volleyball. This program is a great way for players to further develop their volleyball skills. Each practice will include: ball control, game strategy, team play, a strong emphasis on fundamental skills, and strength and conditioning.

Fees

The cost for the program is $400

$100 down by May 15th

$150 in June and July

Includes

Two 1 ½ hour practices per week

Summer membership to all three YMCA of Arlington branches

Tank top, sports bra, shorts, bag, and flip flops

Ages

Girls and boys ages 10 and up

Tournaments

Tournaments are paid for separately by participants.

You may sign up for as many or as few tournaments as you would like.

Generally tournaments run $50-$65 per team.

Signups

Come in a pair or sign up individually.

We will be placing individuals together based upon skill level, positions, and age.

There are no tryouts for the beach program.

Sign up and pay your $100 down by May 15th.

Practices

An all around clinic for all players will be held on May 21st.

Practices will begin the week of May 30th and run through the week of July 25th.

Practices will be held at TCC Southeast Campus.

Club AY is proud to announce that we will be be offering a beach volleyball program this summer. 

This program is for boys and girls ages 10-18.  It is a great way to keep up your skills during volleyball off season.  The practices will be held at TCC SE campus and we are working on securing a central Arlington location.

Tournaments - 4 Saturday tournaments, 2 Saturday/Sunday tournaments
